Directions to the Preston CSCS Test Centre

Car

Do you intend to travel to Preston Test Centre using a car? You will find the Centre down the Guildhall Street at the junction of Cross Street off Fishergate. The Centre is opposite Spencer’s and Marks.

Parking

There are no parking facilities at the Centre. NW car park along Glover’s Court is nearest a two-minute walk from CSCS Centre. Sykes Street is a three-minute walk from the CSCS Centre. Both two centres charge £2.20 for two hours.

Bus

Buses around include 75, 77A, 77, and 89. Fishergate (stand E) is the nearest. It’s a three minutes’ walk from the CSCS Centre. Preston Station is ten minutes’ walk from the Centre.

Train

Preston Station is the nearest 0.4 miles and eight minutes’ walk to the CSCS Centre.

Other Infomation

The CSCS Centre opens on weekdays except on weekends from 8 am to 4 pm. The disabled use the ramp to access the building, and the Centre is on the same level as the ramp. The Centre uses a buzzer entry system.

How long does the test last?

You will have 45 mintues to answer 50 multiple choice questions.

What will I need to get to pass?

The CSCS operative test pass mark is 45/50.
The CSCS specialist test pass mark is 45/50.
The CSCS managers and professionals pass mark is 46/50
