Directions to the Exeter CSCS Test Centre

Car

Are you travelling to Exeter Test Centre using a car? The centre is in the middle of Exeter near the train station. At the roundabout, when using Queen Street, the 4th exit will get you to the New North Road. On the next roundabout, maintain the North Road using the second exit and branch left to locate the Beaufort House with the Exeter Centre on the 3rd floor of the North suite.

Parking

Exeter doesn’t have parking facilities. Howell Road, a three-minute walk to the centre, has parking facilities and charges are £3.30 for two hours. John Lewis Park, a three minutes’ walk to the centre, has parking charging £4.40 for two hours.

Bus

Buses around North Road include 6, 5, 56,55, 176 and 173. Stop 28 is a nearby bus stop two minutes’ walk to the centre. Exeter station is a five minutes’ walk to the centre.

Train

Exeter Central along Queen Street is the nearest station. It's 0.4 miles and a seven minutes’ walk to the centre.

Other Infomation

The centre is open weekdays except for weekends from 8 am to 4 pm. Beaufort House is friendly to disabled people.

How long does the test last?

You will have 45 mintues to answer 50 multiple choice questions.

What will I need to get to pass?

The CSCS operative test pass mark is 45/50.
The CSCS specialist test pass mark is 45/50.
The CSCS managers and professionals pass mark is 46/50
