Directions to the Stornoway CSCS Test Centre

Car

Beginning your journey from Caladh Inn, make a left down James Street until you reach the roundabout. Take a right and venture along South Beach Street until it ends at Number 1 Pier. Turn right onto Quay Street and you will find Custom House on the right hand side of the street. The test centre is located within this building, as the first door to your left upon entry at ground floor level. Be aware that there are two steps into Custom House but a temporary ramp has been set up for easy access.

How long does the test last?

You will have 45 mintues to answer 50 multiple choice questions.

What will I need to get to pass?

The CSCS operative test pass mark is 45/50.
The CSCS specialist test pass mark is 45/50.
The CSCS managers and professionals pass mark is 46/50

What to bring with you

In order to be able to sit your CSCS test, you will need to show a valid form of ID(there are no exceptions, sorry). Below are the types of identifications that are accepted:
  • UK driving license
  • Passport
