Directions to the Kirkwall CSCS Test Centre

Car

. Begin your journey from Kirkwall Travel Centre by heading 10 metres up West Castle Street and using the pedestrian crossing to cross Junction Road. Turn left, then carry on for 137m along Junction Road until you reach Buster's diner where you should turn right into Mounthoolie Place. Walk 45m up this road before taking a left turn; after 20m the entrance to the Neuk will be on your left-hand side. Alternatively, if you are departing from Pickaquoy Centre (Normal Testing Venue) make your way 145 metres down Muddisdale Road towards Pickaquoy Road and take a right onto it. Follow Pickaquoy Road for 480m, taking care to cross at the pedestrian crossing opposite Tesco before turning left onto Great Western Road and continuing 320m until reaching West Castle Street which should be turned right into. Continue walking up West Castle Street until using the pedestrian crossing to cross Junction Road - again turning left - walk 137m along this path until arriving at Buster's diner whereupon you should turn right into Mounthoolie Place and travel 45 metres up it – eventually taking a final left turn with an entrance awaiting after 20 metres of traversing!

How long does the test last?

You will have 45 mintues to answer 50 multiple choice questions.

What will I need to get to pass?

The CSCS operative test pass mark is 45/50.
The CSCS specialist test pass mark is 45/50.
The CSCS managers and professionals pass mark is 46/50
