Directions to the Derby CSCS Test Centre

Car

Drive for around five minutes from City Centre to Derby Centre. Along Mansfield Road, take the Prime Parkway on the right at the roundabout. The CSCS Centre is on the East Side of the Health and Beauty College, directly opposite St. Paul’s church.

Parking

Derby CSCS Centre has no parking, but you can use those on adjacent roads around the Centre. Phoenix Street has parking facilities 12 minutes’ walk from the CSCS Centre if there is no space. Payment for two hours is £2. Sowter Road has parking at £2.50 for two hours.

Bus

Buses available include 24 and 22. St. Paul’s church is a nearby bus stop only two minutes from the Centre. Derby Station is only 15 minutes walk to the Centre.

Train

Derby Midland is the nearby railway station. It’s around 1.6 miles to the Centre, taking 25 minutes while walking.

Other Infomation

The CSCS operates weekdays except on weekends from 8 am to 4 pm. It’s accessible to disabled people.

How long does the test last?

You will have 45 mintues to answer 50 multiple choice questions.

What will I need to get to pass?

The CSCS operative test pass mark is 45/50.
The CSCS specialist test pass mark is 45/50.
The CSCS managers and professionals pass mark is 46/50
