Directions to the Colchester CSCS Test Centre

Car

If you're looking for the Butt Road pay & display car park, it's 200 yards away from Wellington House. When you get there, head down Butt Road and you'll find Wellington on your right. If travelling by bus, hop off at Headgate road then take the underpass to pass Essex Police headquarters. Carry on walking along Butt Road for 300 yards and you'll see Wellington House situated on the left-hand side. The test centre is located on the 4th floor of this building. Please note: as of 11 April 2018 any unauthorised vehicles parked here will be fined due to a new Automatic Number Plate Recognition system now in place.

How long does the test last?

You will have 45 mintues to answer 50 multiple choice questions.

What will I need to get to pass?

The CSCS operative test pass mark is 45/50.
The CSCS specialist test pass mark is 45/50.
The CSCS managers and professionals pass mark is 46/50

In order to be able to sit your CSCS test, you will need to show a valid form of ID(there are no exceptions, sorry). Below are the types of identifications that are accepted:
